This morning’s group walk event was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time. Some of the issues on people’s minds today were parking, the community pool, and development. It was a positive and encouraging morning for everyone who was involved. I was moved by the number of friends and neighbors who answered the call for help.
I’d like to give a special thank you to Santa Rosa Vice Mayor Chris Rogers, who shared his expertise in community outreach with the group. I also have to thank my partner Sean who delayed his bachelor party (three weeks until wedding day!) until after the walk so that he could deliver yard signs as they were requested. It takes community!
